Parker Services purchases GC- Mass Spec
The new GC-Mass Spec brings new capabilities to Parker Services. Along with the capability of analyzing
for unknowns and the increased sensitivity gained by not using a liquid for desorption, we can also offer
passive sampling and bulk emission testing.
Passive sampling with thermal desorption tubes gives you the ease of using a badge and the sensitivity of
the thermal desorption tube.
Bulk emission testing is done using the Micro-Chamber/Thermal Extractor. Bulk material is placed into the
micro chamber and a thermal desorption tube is used to collect the vapors.
Another feature the new GC-MS offers, benefits both the client and the lab. This feature is sample
recollection. This means that a thermal desorption sample can now be re-run for repeat or further analysis.
